Manchester United star player Romelu Lukaku could miss his side’s next three local games should the FA decide to punish him for hitting Gaetan Bong in the groin during the 1-0 win premier league game against Brighton on Saturday.

Lukaku was caught on camera kicking Bong in the groin while the game was still on.

The Belgium international lashed out at the defender twice in the space of a few seconds when both players clashed as a corner was being taken at Old Trafford.

Although the incident wasn’t noticed by referee Neil Swarbrick during the game, the video is now publicly seen, and the English football governing body will definitely intervene.

An announcement is yet to be made by the FA regarding their decision, Romelu is already in danger of being suspended for Man United’s next three local games.

This means the former Everton striker won’t participate in the back-to-back premier league games against Arsenal and Manchester City.

Metro made it known that more video will be examined before it is determined whether action needs to be taken against Lukaku.

Jose Mourinho will hope further actions won’t be taken against his star striker, as his side need to earn all three points against Manchester City on December 10 to enable them keep in touch with Pep Guardiola’s side.
