Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is impressed with the goalscoring prowess of Everton forward Romelu Lukaku amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
The 23-year-old striker has been tipped to leave the Goodison Park this summer after failing to extend his current deal with the Toffees, giving the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United the opportunity to vie for the striker’s signature.
The Belgian has been an impressive figure for Everton this season, netting 24 goals so far and Arsene Wenger has said he is impressed with striker’s abilities.
He said: ‘If you look at his record it’s quite impressive.
‘I believe every big club who plays against him is conscious at any moment he can score against you with his power and determination.
‘I haven’t analysed deeply enough the big games at Everton to see whether that’s true or not.
‘If you look at his record and his age, it’s quite impressive, I think nobody has scored more in the Premier League than him at his age, so you have to respect that.’
Arsenal are also understood to be in market for a striker this summer as Wenger hopes to bolster his striking force after seeing his squad languish in poor form in the Premier League.
