North London outfit Arsenal are reported to be in talks with West Brom over the sale of star player Carl Jenkinson on a permanent deal.

Carl Jenkinson did not get enough playing time under manager Unai Emery and that seems to have gotten him frustrated to want to leave the club and he has been given an escape route to West Brom.

The 27-year-old was handed just eight games under Unai Emery last season and could be the end of his stay at the club, after coming through the ranks of the youth team.

However, West Brom are not the only club in the chase of Carlo Jenkinson as Celtic are also reported to be interested in his signature because they seek to replace Mikael Lustig, who is set to join KAA Gent.

It is also suggested that Carl Jenkinson will wish to leave the Emirates Stadium as he can no longer be guaranteed of a first-team football under the Spanish boss.

Meanwhile, it has been suggested to Arsenal to let go of the player to be able to cash in for more additions.

It is no longer news that manager Unai Emery only has £40 million to engage with, in this summer trader window.
