According to reports, Premier League giants Arsenal are hoping to make use of their special connections to see off stiff competition from Manchester United and Liverpool in Nice star Jean-Michael Seri.
Arsenal keen on African star
The Daily Mirror is claiming that Arsenal are interested in a possible deal to land the Ivorian at the end of the season.
The same report states that the Gunners hope that their Director of football relations Raul Sanllehi who has special relations with the player’s agent.
As per the same article, Sanllehi was close to signing for Barcelona last summer transfer window when Seri was still a member of the Spanish La Liga club’s board.
The African has been a vital part of his team over the last couple of campaigns to attract interest from a lot of top European sides.
The star has netted two goals and has created five assists in 30 matches in the French Ligue 1 this term.

The Gunners finished in the season in sixth place on the English Premier League log to miss out on a place in the UEFA Champions League for the second season running.
