Denis Suarez

North London side Arsenal are reported to have stepped up their bid for Spanish giants Barcelona star Denis Suarez, according to reports coming from Spain.

The Gunners have been long-term suitors of the star player but from indications, a bid will now be stepped up with an official approach of the club ahead of the winter transfer window.

Spanish daily sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim that interest has already been officially made by English Primer League side and Italian Serie A side AS Roma for the player.

Denis Suarez is reported to be getting more frustrated at the Spanish side owing to his lack of playing time which makes him seek for a move away despite the reluctance of Barcelona to let him go.

Gunners boss Unai Emery is believed to be a big fan of the player and has already known Denis Suarez for a long time as he wishes to work with him.

Denis Suarez is tipped to provide that cover for departing Wales international and English international striker Danny Welbeck who is already injured and set to leave the Emirates Stadium.

However, Arsenal must be willing to pay big to land Denis Suarez as they will face competition from other sides.
