Leicester City midfielder James Maddison has dismissed transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the Foxes this summer.
The England junior international has been touted as a possible transfer addition to three playing squads at major Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
The 22-year-old addressed those transfer rumours during a chat with Sky Sports as he prepares to help the England u-21 team at the 2019 European Championships in Italy.
James Maddison and England face France in their first game at the tournament before further games against Croatia and Romania.
While speaking with Sky Sports, James Maddison revealed that he’s not taking the transfer rumours seriously before adding that he has learnt to take them with a pinch of salt since he was linked with both Spurs and Liverpool while he was starting out his football career at Coventry City.
James Maddison has been in very good form for Leicester City since his £22m transfer from Norwich City last summer and he’s currently rated £60m by the Foxes.
The midfielder scored seven goals and also provided seven assists in 36 games in the Premier League last season.
James Maddison also created 100 goalscoring chances which were the most amongst the Premier League players last season.
