Arsenal have allegedly offered a deal to Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup and are waiting for him to reply as they hope to have back the ex-Gunner on a free transfer.
Deal running out
The 25-year-old midfielder is currently approaching a free agent when the season ends and sources in Turkey suggest he’s attracting interest from his previous employers.
The midfielder never played in the English Premier League in his first stint at the Emirates, but his decent form for Besiktas has impressed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners are now expecting a reply after holding discussions over a deal for Ozyakup for him to return to the North London outfit, as per to Aksam, as cited by the Daily Mirror.
Smart move
This could possibly be a smart business move by Arsenal if it materializes, with the team able to enjoy the services of one of their former young talents developing in another club without having to pay excessively to land him again as a more established player.
The Turkish international has greatly impressed with his recent performances in the midfield in recent seasons, looking like an established performer at both ends of the field of play and one for the future.
