Why United should be happy after Valencia draw

Manchester United were unable to have a victory to their fans on Tuesday night in the Champions League game against Valencia.

The results at Old Trafford is becoming more disturbing for the fans and pressure has been mounted on manager Jose Mourinho who has been speculated to be leaving the club should the situation fail to improve.

Valencia midfielder Dani Parejo has made a surprising claim by stating that the United would have been beaten and disgraced before their fans, noting that his side would have returned to Spain with all three points.

The game ended in a goalless draw but Parejo said his side deserve more than a draw because of how well they had performed.

While hailing his side, Parejo stated that efforts by the host team to run his side with centres and high balls into the area were contained.

He noted United were bigger in size but that advantage and their tactics failed to work against his side.

The draw would have been much cherished by United fans should the Parejo side had converted one of those chances.
