English Premier League Manchester United are reported to be preparing to storm the Spanish La Liga in the coming winter transfer window for more additions to the team.

The Red Devils are seeking to secure the services of France international and Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez, according to reports in the Spanish press.

Although a Spanish press named OK Diario hints that United will not find it easy in their bid for Lucas Hernandez because of the strong interest coming from German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich as well.

It would be recalled that the Red Devils were strongly linked with Lucas Hernandez in the last summer transfer window but former manager Jose Mourinho failed to have his wish for defensive players sanctioned.

This time, there are indications that new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be given financial support ahead of the winter transfer market so as to have some new additions to the team with defenders as major targets.

However, Lucas Hernandez is a highly rated player in the Spanish La Liga and has not failed to impress in his team so far which makes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer interested in his signature.

Meanwhile, United have been able to record two wins in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s two games in charge of the club.
