Chelsea Set To Splash £20m Cash On Amazing Star

Ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, one of the top stars who had been linked with a move to Chelsea is Domenico Berardi.

And according to new reports, the blues Italian boss Antonio Conte is confident that he can bring the young striker to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window when summer comes.

Ever since making his debut for Sassuolo back in 2012, the 22-year-old has scored 58 times in 154 appearances and has been linked with a move to the English top flight at the end of this season.

And The Daily Mirror indicates that Chelsea boss is certain his side can seal a £20million deal for the player.

Berardi’s side bought him for £8m from Italian giants Juventus and the Champions League heavyweights are said to have the option to trigger a buy-back clause of £15 million.

The West London club are keen to strengthen their team before next season’s Champions League campaign comes and has been linked with a handful of top players ahead of a busy campaign.

In 2015 when Conte was still boss at the Italian national team, he invited Berardi up to his squad for the European Championship qualifiers. The player was however forced to pull out with an injury.

Everton star striker Romelu Lukaku and Real Madrid star forward Alvaro Morata are also linked with the premier league champions-elect.
