Arsenal new signing, Matteo Guendouzi has revealed he decided to join the club ahead of other after been convinced by former Gunners striker, Jeremie Aliadere.
The 19-year-old arrived at the Emirates last summer transfer window after been linked with a number of clubs in Europe, the midfielder has done well so far, showing his potentials during pre-season friendlies.
Following his move to the Emirates, Guendouzi has revealed that former Arsenal forward, Jeremie Alliadere played a vital role in his decision to join the club this summer. He also said the former Gunner convinced him to snub other clubs to play for the red and white army, where he is reassured to grow as a footballer.
Despite Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City last Sunday, Guendouzi went on to claim that Arsenal can win the Premier League title this season, highlighting the team’s strength.
In related news, there are reports that Arsenal’s hopes of bringing new players this season has been hampered by Aaron Ramsey’s weekly wages which is believed to be around 300,000 pounds per week.
The North London club were understood to be considering moves for a number of players next summer, as they hope to net a 40 million pounds deal with Nike for a new kit sponsorship deal.
