According to the Daily Mail, German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund could make a switch for Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi.
The German giants could lose Gabon international striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this winter transfer window, with the Gunners very keen on signing the former African footballer of the year.
This means the German side will have to quickly bring in a replacement and it’s suggested that misfiring Chelsea striker Batshuayi may be a good option for Dortmund.
With the Premier League Champions seemingly closing in on bringing in Roma forward Edin Dzeko, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte looks to be willing to permit Batshuayi to spend the rest of the current season on loan somewhere else.
His playing time is set to be reduced if the Bosnian joins, with summer signing Alvaro Morata already ahead of the Belgian in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian has failed to convince since his transfer from French side Marseille but has shown little glimpses of quality. Notwithstanding, though, a loan switch could be the best way for the striker to explore, with first-team opportunities currently out of reach.
The German side are one of several clubs to have been linked with a transfer for the Belgian this month.
