Nicolas Pepe

English Premier League side Wolverhampton have joined the list of clubs who are to battle with North London side Arsenal for the signature of Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.

The Gunners were earlier reported to be favourites for the player with the hope that a deal could be concluded in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks but that might only happen if they are able to beat off competition from other suitors.

The list of suitors for the interesting Ivory Coast striker has continued to grow with Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man United Bayern Munich all seeking to have his signature.

Wolves are desperate for a new forward and they are of the opinion that Nicolas Pepe would fit into the club style and will settle quickly to deliver goals having had impressive performances so far this season.

Nicolas Pepe has so far scored a total of 10 goals in 16 games with 5 assists across all competitions which makes him a player that is well sought out for in Europe.

However, the Emirates side could still win his signature knowing that Ivory Coast players have got history with the club with Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue who were successful as Gunners.
