Willian risks Antonio Conte’s Axe; questions youngster’s transfer out of Chelsea

Chelsea winger Willian has sent a message out to Italian tactician Antonio Conte and the club to return England international Ruben Loftus-Cheek from his season-long loan spell at bottom club Crystal Palace.

The youngster was loaned out after failing to seal a regular first team shirt, with only cameo appearances in cup matches.

Since he left Chelsea to Crystal Palace, the 21-year old has shown flashes of his quality in the English top-flight and earned himself an invite to the England national senior team.

He was seen as fringe to midfielders N’Golo Kante, Cesc Fabregas, and Tiemoue Bakayoko and with the signing of Danny Drinkwater, one might think the Blues do not have plans for the starlet.

However, it seems there are some people at the club who still think highly of the young midfielder and one of them is Brazil international winger Willian. According to Willian, who spoke to the Metro, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has the necessary qualities to play for the Premier League Champions and not Palace.

Willian stated that he does not know why the player was sent out on loan to Crystal Palace, he confirmed the player has to be recalled from the loan spell back to Chelsea because he believes he is a very good player, strong and has quality.
