Chelsea attacker Willian is not shutting the door on a potential departure from the West London side just yet.
According to a report from Brazilian sports news outlet UOL, the skilful winger is still considering his Chelsea future despite possibly being happy at the club.
The Brazil international attacking midfielder has been at Stamford Bridge for some time now and has displayed his quality over the seasons. However, the wide man has been touted with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge in recent months, with Premier League giant Manchester United strongly linked.
The report from UOL claims that if Chelsea manager Antonio Conte remains in charge by the next summer, the Brazilian could indeed seek a transfer away from the club. While it’s been said that Willian has no grudges against anyone at the West London club, the Chelsea hero against Qarabag is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of regular game time under Antonio Conte.
However, the Brazilian did start for the English Premier League Champion in their vital UEFA Champions League victory over Azerbaijan side Qarabag this week. The versatile attacker grabbed a brace as the Blues clinched their spot in the round of 16 of the Europe’s elite cup competition.
