According to Frank Sinclair, FA Cup holders Chelsea must look to bring in a new forward this summer transfer window.
Chelsea must replace Morata
Chelsea are likely to be connected with a number of players this summer window as they look to reinforce their team and assemble a squad capable of winning the English topflight title next term.
The season ended up being a disappointing one for the Blues they finished in fifth position on the log and missed out on Champions League qualification for next season.
However, the West London outfit did ended the season on a good note when they defeated bitter rivals Manchester United 1-0 in the Emirates FA Cup final in May.
Attentions will now turn towards transfer activities and the players the club could look to sign ahead of next campaign.
Attacking reinforcement required
And ex-Chelsea defender Franck Sinclair believes that the club need to sign attacking reinforcements considering Spain striker Alvaro Morata’s mixed debut season at Stamford Bridge.
Sinclair told Sporting Bet the club will need another forward this summer.
The Blues will be aiming to break back into the UEFA Champions League spots next term after they ended the season in fifth position last season.
Chelsea will also look to resolve the future of manager Antonio Conte, with the tactician’s current situation having been a frequent source of rumour this term.
