Mesut Ozil

Arsenal fans had reasons to smile again after watching the Gunners defeat Bournemouth by 5-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

More to the victory is the performance by German international Mesut Ozil who impressed both the managers and the fans in addition to the goal he scored but that is not a guarantee for a starting role in the next game against Tottenham.

The Gunners’ boss Unai Emery showered praise on the former Real Madrid star but made it clear that he will have to do some analysis of the game, as well as watch the London rival’s tape before coming to a conclusion of who will be in the starting line up of the game.

Many had expected that the German will be on the starting role with his current form but could the disappointed if the analysis of the Spanish manager does go in his favour.

Mesut Ozil was recently relegated to the bench with claims that he had a rift with the manager over his lack of quality performance in big games.

With the North London derby promising to be a tough game, it is not clear if Unai Emery will give Mesut Ozil the benefit of doubt or not.
