Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has revealed that his preference is to win the Premier League title ahead of any individual accolade.

Salah said this while he was fielding questions from Sky Sports reporters ahead of the crucial Premier League clash at home to in-form Watford.

The Hornets warmed up for their visit to Anfield with a thumping win over Cardiff City.

Watford scored five goals away from home for the first time in the Premier League as they thrashed Welsh side Cardiff City 5-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday evening.

Salah and Liverpool would be hoping they can get back to winning ways against Watford having won just one of their last four league games including the goalless draw at Manchester United on Sunday.

Their solitary win came against Bournemouth whom they beat 3-0 with goals from Mohamed Salah, Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane.

Mohamed Salah is targeting team accolade over individual accolade.

The Egyptian international star could become the fastest player to score 50 Premier League goals for a single club if he scored against Watford.

The 26-year-old is on 49 goals after 64 games with the record currently held by Premier League legend Alan Shearer who scored 50 goals for Newcastle United after 66 games
