Amongst the pain for not recording a win against BATE in the Europa League is the fact that Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette was shown a red card in the game.
The North London outfit saw their first defeat in the Europa League with suggestions that it would not have happened, should Alexandre Lacazette had remained in the game especially after he found the back of the net in the 55th minute before it was disallowed by the referee.
His absence later in the game reduced the creativity in the attack and that was the reason his apology is more needed than any other Arsenal player.
Alexandre Lacazette took to the twitter to apologise for the result of the game, noting that he feels bad to have let the team down.
He added that he would have remained in the game because there was still more time to have the game on. Alexandre Lacazette, therefore, hopes that his teammates will endure the qualification of the team to the next round.
However, Alexandre Lacazette will not file out with the North London outfit in the second leg of the game at the Emirate Stadium which means Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be left alone to handle the attack.
