English Premier League outfit Man United have received reply from top target and Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt on their reported interest in his signature.
Matthijs de Ligt has been in top form for Ajax and was part of the team that saw through the defeat of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Italian outfit Juventus which is the reason why he is attracting a number of interests from top European sides.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona have been linked with a move for the star player and they are all keen to land him ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have got a big need of quality defenders after struggling to win games in recent weeks. The Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team have won just 2 of their last 11 games across all competitions.
However, Matthijs de Ligt has now learned of the interest from the Old Trafford and has stated that he is not interested in the move.
A source close to Matthijs de Ligt has therefore stated the defender is ready for a move but not to United as he has got other offers elsewhere.
The source said Matthijs de Ligt has got a good bargaining power because he has risen in quality and ability.
