Almost everyone agrees Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has one of the best attacks right now in the premier league.
The trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been impressive this season and have been scoring lots of goals for the reds.
Nevertheless, former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney feels the trio can’t be as good as what his former club have when Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and himself were still partners at Old Trafford.
Mohamed Salah arrived Liverpool last summer and has quickly settled to life at Anfield. The Egypt international is now one of the most important members of the club and together with the duo of Sadio and Roberto, the three stars have scored 56 times so far this season.
A few years back, the trio of Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo were leading Manchester United attack. They helped the red devils win consecutive Premier League trophies and also the Champions League in 2008.
And speaking recently to Sky Sports, Wayne Rooney believes the trio of Mane, Salah and Firmino are ‘very dangerous’, and that Mo in particular ‘tries his best’ to take them to the next level.
But the Englishman believes Klopp’s front three can’t match Man United’s because himself and the rest were able to win trophies for the red devils – which is something he believes would be difficult to happen at Liverpool.
