How United Will Lineup In Defence Alongside Alex Sandro

According to new reports circulating in the media, Manchester United have agreed to personal terms with Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro and are ready to welcome him to Old Trafford this summer transfer window.

Nevertheless, it was also added that the red devils still need to convince Juventus to allow him to switch to the Theater of Dreams ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Jose Mourinho could do with a new left-back in his team, and Alex has proved he is one of the best in the continent in recent times. He has won a handful of trophies with the Italian heavyweights since he joined the Serie A club some years back.

The Brazilian star will definitely add more quality to Mourinho’s team and will add more power to his defense department.

It was reported that Sandro has agreed to join Manchester United this summer and that Juve are the ones hindering the deal with their £53M asking price.

At Old Trafford, Ashely Young has been impressive as a left back in Mourinho’s starting XI, but we can’t ignore the facts that the position isn’t his natural role and that he is getting closer to retirement.

Once Sandro arrived, we expect him to find his way into Mourinho’s starting XI straightaway. Here is what Manchester United’s defence will look like:

LB – Alex Sandro
CB – Eric Bailly
CB – Phil Jones
RB – Antonio Valencia (or Dalot)
