English Premier League outlet Manchester United are reported to have joined former league champions Leicester City in the pursuit of Portugal outfit Portimonense star Shoya Nakajima.
The report claims that the Red Devils have already sent scouts to watch the player and the Benfica game against Portimonense on Wednesday was monitored by the scouts and they are expected to return with a report on the player.
It is claimed that United are ready to snap up the player form Leicester City as they wish to have him join the Old Trafford as early as in this winter transfer window.
The Foxes were believed to be in the race earlier before United and they are reported to be preparing a bid to also land the 24-year-old which means they will have to battle their fellow league side.
Shoya Nakajima has been the talk by Portimonense fans as a result of his impressive performance this season which has attracted interest from all over with the 13 games under the belt of the star player; he has scored a total of five goals.
United are therefore keen to land the Japan international as they are willing to meet with his asking price which would not be on the high side.
