£60m Striker Signing Will Secure PL Title For Liverpool
Football finance guru Keith Maguire is certain that Liverpool will win the Premier League (PL) title if they sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner before the end of this winter transfer window.
According to the football finance expert, £60m-rated striker Werner will bring the much needed firepower to see Liverpool through in their quest to fend off defending champions Manchester City for the Premier League title.
Keith Maguire spoke about Timo Werner and Liverpool in an exclusive interview with the Daily Star.
Liverpool have a slim chance to sign the 22-year-old German international attacker before this current transfer window closes on Thursday night.
Timo Werner has also been attracting attention from other European heavyweights like European champions Real Madrid, German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
He has scored 11 goals in the league in this campaign to fire RB Leipzig to the top four on the German Bundesliga.
In total, Timo Werner has scored 56 goals in 100 appearances for RB Leipzig.
Liverpool could do with his firepower as they challenge Premier League holders Manchester City for the league title with just 14 games left to play this season.
The Reds have a five-point lead at the top of the league table.
