How United make transfer way-forward with Anthony Martial

It has been confirmed, according to a Sky Sports report that French striker Anthony Martial has finally penned a contract extension deal with Manchester United.

The report claims that former Monaco forward will now be at the Old Trafford until June 2024 and that includes the option of extending it for a further year.

The Red Devils are understood to be overstretched before convincing Anthony Martial for a new deal as he insisted on leaving the club after falling out with the former Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho.

The former Chelsea boss who is now without a job after his sack at the Old Trafford last December had described the style of play by Anthony Martial as being childish as he severally criticized the young lad.

The system immediately changed with the coming of new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Anthony Martial found his form and stance again.

Reacting to the development, Anthony Martial stated that he is beginning to love his time at the Old Trafford because he feels being part of the family right from the day he joined the club.

He, however, thanked the club, officials and his players who helped him settle at the club as well as having believed in his ability to deliver.
