Arsenal lead race in hunt for Brazilian teenager

Gabriel Martinelli

The North London outfit Arsenal are set to storm the summer transfer window for more additions but that is not to say they have got all the funds available as it is suggested that they will be careful in their spending.

Reports claim that Gunners manager Unai Emery has his attention on Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli who has been impressive for Sao Paulo-based Ituano, a fourth tier side.

The Daily Mail reports that the Gunners will move in for Gabriel Martinelli as the Spanish manager is very much interested in him ahead of next season.

However, the North London outfit are not alone in the race for Gabriel Martinelli as Man United and Barcelona are reported to be keeping tabs on him but Arsenal is being favoured ahead of the duo.

There is no doubt that Gabriel Martinelli will not cost the Emirates Stadium side any huge sum which makes him available for capture in the coming summer window.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are hoping that they can have a better next season with the hope that new players will be brought in to strengthen the team while the tactics and pattern of the Spanish manager would have been perfected by a majority of the players.
