West Ham United have been dealt a big blow following the news that star forward Marko Arnautovic will be out of action for at least one month.
The 29-year-old will not play again this year thus putting his potential transfer to Chelsea in doubt.
Marko Arnautovic has already talked about his desire to play for a Champions League club.
Apart from Chelsea, the Austrian international player has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.
A transfer fee of around £50m has been mooted as what would be required to prise him away from West Ham United.
A potential transfer is in doubt as a result of the hamstring injury he sustained in the Premier League clash with newly promoted outfit Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
Marko Arnautovic lasted for just 39 minutes before he made way for former Arsenal player Lucas Perez who went on to score two goals in the second half to lead the Hammers to a 3-1 win over the Bluebirds.
Arnautovic has become a key player for the East Londoners since he joined the club from Stoke City last summer.
West Ham United were said to have paid around £25m to secure his transfer from the Potters.
