Chelsea star player Michy Batshauyi has defended Hazard’s remarks about his need to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Eden admonished his countryman to look for other opportunities elsewhere during the past summer transfer window when the blues appeared ready to bring in Fernando Llorente from Swansea City.
Fernando, however, ended up at Tottenham Hotspur, giving just Batshauyi the chance to fight for the goal-scoring role with Alvaro Morata.
Michy played the role of an alternative striker last season behind Diego Costa, and has resumed the same role this season behind summer signing Morata. Despite scoring the important goal that helped Chelsea win the premier league trophy last season, he has played just 99 minutes in the premier league this term.
Nevertheless, the Belgian striker insists he is not interested in leaving Chelsea and that his relationship with Morata is quite healthy.
Speaking to The Sun recently, Batshauyi made the clarification that Hazard’s advice is simply a friendly one because he thought a third striker was coming to Stamford Bridge.
And about his relationship with Morata, he insists both of them are moving well and that both of them are very ambitious.
He also promised the fans that he won’t leave Stamford Bridge in the next transfer window and that the manager believes in him for not asking him to leave this year.
