RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has been given a priceless transfer advice as he weighs up his future at the club ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

When asked about RB Leipzig teammate Werner in an interview monitored by the Daily Mirror, Emil Forsberg advised the German international player to trust his gut feeling on his next move.

Forsberg further pointed out that Timo Werner is the poster boy of German football.

Timo Werner has been attracting the interest of a lot of major clubs on the European football scene including Premier League title challengers Liverpool.

Recent reports had revealed that the Reds are plotting a summer move for the petite attacker in a deal that could be as much as £50m.

The 22-year-old has been in sensational form for his German Bundesliga club this term.

Werner is one of the leading scorers in the German top flight this season with 11 league goals.

His form has prompted RB Leipzig to the top four spots on the German Bundesliga table.

RB Leipzig occupy the fourth spot on the table behind German champions Bayern Munich, Borussia Moenchengladbach, and league leaders Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund are also in the running to sign the striker.
