English Championship outfit Stoke City have demanded a big transfer fee for their goalkeeper Jack Butland according to The Sun.

It was revealed that the Potters have slapped a £23m asking price on Butland who’s attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.

Crystal Palace and Bournemouth are interested in bringing back Jack Butland to the Premier League but they are not ready to pay the said asking price according to the aforementioned report.

Jack Butland suffered relegation from the Premier League with Stoke City at the end of the 2017/18 season and was linked with clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool afterwards.

Arsenal went on to sign German international Bernd Leno from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen last summer in a deal reported to be around £22m while Liverpool spent a world-record fee on Brazilian international shot stopper Alisson Becker.

Liverpool signed Alisson Becker from Italian Serie A giants AS Roma in a deal reported to be around £67m which was a record at that time before Chelsea paid over £71m to sign Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from La Liga club Athletic Bilbao.

Alisson Becker had a superb first season as a Liverpool goalkeeper with the Champions League title confirmed via a 2-0 win over North London giants Tottenham Hotspur.
