Former Chelsea boss has words for club stars about Under-fire Antonio Conte

According to Sky Sports, former Chelsea tactician Gianluca Vialli has jumped into defence of under-fire manager Antonio Conte, hailing him as a prosperous trainer.

Reports say some Chelsea players are not happy with the Italian’s training methods.

Gianluca Vialli, who played 58 matches for the Blues and Coached the side between 1998 and 2000 League season.

There have been speculations of dissatisfaction at the Bridge with Conte’s tenure, but Gianluca Vialli was talking to Sky Sports and defended the former Italy coach. He said he was shocked at the rumour, because Conte took the team that had finished seventh two seasons ago and turned it around, leading them to win the English Premier League.

The former Chelsea boss also spoke about the fact that Blues players must be delighted playing under the former Juventus coach. He said if he was a footballer, he would see in such a technician guru, a messiah, he would always work with the Italian. He admitted that Antonio Conte is a winning and successful trainer.

Vialli further stated that he do not believe speculations of a break with the environment, he said if it were true, the news would be outside the world.

Chelsea’s next game in the English Premier League sees them take on AFC Bournemouth away from home at the Weekend, that’s after a home match against managerless Everton in the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
