How Chelsea blocked my Madrid move says Hazard

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed plans for his future as speculations on his eventual exit from the club continues to make headlines.

The 27-year-old has been constantly linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid as a possible replacement for Christiano Ronaldo.

As the international break is taking center stage at the moment, more questions have been asked about his possible departure from the Blues and the player has replied by announcing that a move to Madrid might not be so far away anymore.

Hazard made it perfectly clear that a move to the Spanish capital was his preferred option in the summer after a superb World Cup in which he captained his country to the semi-finals.

He, however, stated that Chelsea rejected the possibility of his moving to La Liga ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, and when they did so he did not push the issue and instead remained at Stamford Bridge for another season with just 18 months left on his current deal.

In that line, the player has once again stated that he is not thinking about a move right now and that he is just concentrating on the rest of the season with Chelsea.
