Sky Sports pundit reveals what major is left for Solskjaer after PSG defeat

The honeymoon is no doubt over for Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he watched his side were hammered 2-0 on Tuesday night in the Champions League clash against French Ligue 1 outfit PSG.

The former United forward took over the job from Jose Mourinho in December last year and hit the ground running with a number of wins. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was unbeaten until in his 12th game against the European champions.

Before the defeat, there have been rally calls to the Red Devils management to ensure that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is handed the opportunity to lead United on a permanent basis.

It would be recalled that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was only asked to take over until the end of the season when a permanent manager is recruited but his performance earned him the chance to be part of the contest.

However, Sky Sports analyst Adam Bate is of the opinion that the real challenge has just begun for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as it would play a part when he is being considered for the job.

He stated that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must ensure he gets the players up to their feet from the disappointing defeat as pundits and critics will be out to see if he has the ability to achieve that.
