It’s not longer news that Brazilian midfielder Fred has eventually finalised his move to Manchester United and will play at Old Trafford next season.
What is new right now is that another United target – in the person of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – has dropped some hints that he is prepared to follow the Brazilian down to the Theater of Dreams.
Sergej joined Lazio about three years ago and has become one of the club’s most influential players. He has played 122 games so far for the Serie A side and has scored 25 times.
His impressive performances at Rome has caught the attention of various top European clubs and he has been strongly been linked with a move away from the club this summer.
Manchester United are said to have submitted a £96million bid for the 23-year-old and it appears Lazio won’t reject such huge amount of money.
Jose Mourinho’s side finalised the signing of Fred on Tuesday from Shakhtar Donetsk and issued an official announcement to welcome the South American star to the Theater of Dreams.
Then, Milinkovic-Savic surprised everyone when he ‘liked’ a post on social media reporting the Brazilian’s arrival at Old Trafford.
