Merseysider’s Liverpool are not willing to give up on securing the signature of Guinean international Naby Keita even after getting two offers turned down.
Recently, the Red half of Merseyside tabled a 66 million pounds offer to sign the African, but his club Red Bull Leipzig snubbed them.
Famous British tabloid The Mirror claims Liverpool are set to try their luck once again and table a fee worth around 70 million pounds to secure the services of the African midfielder.
Keita, 22, played in 32 matches in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit last season, scoring 8 goals and assisting 8 in the process.
The midfielder made his senior international debut in 2014 and so far, in 24 matches for Guinea, he has scored three goals.
According to a report in the Mirror, the Anfield based club will decide on their next strategy early in the coming week.
It will not come as any shock if Liverpool table another huge money transfer bid to sign the midfielder, but at the same time, it will not be surprising to see Red Bull Leipzig turn down the offer yet again.
The message from the Bundesliga club is very clear, that is, they do not want to cash-in-on one of their most priced assets.
