Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made RB Leipzig midfielder Keita and Southampton defender Van Dijk his two main targets this summer transfer window.
The Reds have already spent close to £50m on signing Dominic Solanke from Chelsea, Mohamed Salah from Roma and Andrew Robertson this summer window.
But according to Express Sport, Liverpool are set to launch a final £75m bid for Keita.
And the Liverpool Echo claims the Reds are also set to pay £60m to land Southampton defender Van Dijk.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager broke Liverpool’s transfer record to sign £37m Salah from Serie A side Roma, but is not scared of breaking the record once again to sign the duo of Keita and Van Dijk.
Klopp has already had bids of £57m, and £66m turned down for Keita, who has a release clause worth £50m that could be triggered next summer.
Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have publicly insisted the Guinea international is going nowhere with Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick insisting there is no buy-out fee in his deal.
The Merseysiders were forced to apologise to Southampton last month for ‘tapping up’ Van Dijk, but he is determined on moving to the red half of Merseyside.
Van Dijk, 26, has been banished to train alone after making his intent known to new Saints manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
The Reds will have to be cautious about their move for the unsettled defender and may have to wait until the Saints declare they are ready to listen to offers.
