Sergej Milinkovic

Italian Serie A outfit Lazio are ready to cash in on Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and they have therefore decided to lower their £100 million asking price for the player.

The Red Devils were earlier reported to be in the lead for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s signature but were discouraged by the big fee on the player.

The likes of Italian Serie A champions Juventus, French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain are all reported to be interested in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but were also discouraged with the £100 million tag.

However, with the latest report, United are now encouraged in their bid ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in the coming days.

Confirming that the asking price for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic would be lowered down, Sky Sports Italia suggests that his game has dipped this season and may no longer deserve such an amount.

Although suggestions are that the Serbia international would not be allowed to seal a move away from the club this winter window until after the current season.

This season, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has scored just once with the 15 games under his belt this season for Lazio.

Meanwhile, United are desperate to seal a deal for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic so as to add strength to the team ahead of the second half of the season.
