Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been tipped to take over the job at Chelsea with manager Maurizio Sarri expected to be sacked in coming days.

The Italian boss has failed to motivate the players to give their best which has resulted in defeats for the North London outfit with claims that the management of the club are now uncomfortable with the development.

A number of names have been linked with the job at the West London outfit with former manager Zinedine Zidane mentioned as a possible replacement after it was claimed that he would take the job should the Blues management make available £200 million kitty for transfer deals and also keep Eden Hazard at the club ahead of coming season.

However former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman is of the opinion that Arsene Wenger can be a great choice at the Stamford Bridge and will succeed if given the opportunity.

David Seaman claims the French manager has got to prove his critics wrong owing to his last few years at the North London outfit Arsenal.

However, it is not sure if Wenger will wish to return to the Premier League to compete against Arsenal as a result of the history and attachment he has with the club.
