According to reports in British papers, Premier League Champions Chelsea are closely watching the situations of Steaua Bucharest wing ace Florinel Coman.

The West London club’s Technical director Michael Emenalo travelled to Romania just last week to watch the 19-year-old in action for Steaua in their 1-0 victory over city rivals Dinamo Bucharest.

The highly-rated young sensation primarily plays from the left-wing although he is equally played across the front line and has been played five times by Romania’s Under 21 team.

Steaua Bucharest only signed him a month ago from Viitorul Constanta for around £2million despite heavy interest from Portuguese side Benfica.

However, Steaua Bucharest’s controversial Chairman Gigi Becali is believed to have included a £88million buyout clause in the teenager’s contract as they regard the hot prospect to be at the same level as Paris Saint Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

Steaua Bucharest have a couple of talented youngsters at the club, including Dennis Man, Tanase, and Dragos Nedelcu but Florinel Coman is seen the best among his pair.

Meanwhile, reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea have tabled a contract worth around £300,000 weekly to Belgium international Eden Hazard and expect him to remain but are wary of the continued interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid in their talented Belgian.
