Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has disclosed how the signing of Alexis Sanchez could help improve two important Red Devils players.

Discussing after Monday night’s match, the England international told Sky Sports that he feels the signing of the Arsenal star could help bring out the best in the teams attacking duo Anthony Martial and Belgian Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United had a good game against Stoke City, winning 3-0, and Gary Neville believes Alexis Sanchez would take the Red Devils attack to the next level.

The former right full-back praised the Chilean international forward’s work ethic and impeccable quality and feels the likes of Anthony Martial and former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku will look at forward and be motivated to even improve themselves.

Neville said when Alexis Sanchez is on top of his game, he is infectious to his colleague, so he can imagine when as a player you see his work rate, his fantastic work ethic.

He noted that the players work rate should rub off on his teammates, so Lukaku and Martial should see him moving around, a world-class attacking player scurrying about the pitch, he’s played at Spanish La Liga side FC Barcelona, and they should think they are going to do the same as well.
