Already, many Chelsea fans all over the world are very much proud of their new Italian manager Antonio Conte. The former Juventus manager has successfully turned their beloved Club’s fortune around, striping them of all shames and taunts allocated to them due to their unpleasant outings last season.
Conte, despite this being his first season at the premier league club, has successfully helped lift Chelsea to the top of the premier league table and made them the favourites to win the title this season. He has also helped lead the club into the FA Cup Semi Final and will be clashing with Tottenham Hotspur to secure a place in the final.
The former Italy head coach has earned the admiration of many people, including many Chelsea fans who wants him to stay put at the club. And not Chelsea fans alone seem to have fallen in love with him, it appears billionaire club owner Roman Abramovich wants him to remain too.
The Express reported that the Russian owner has reached an agreement with the Italian manager over a new deal and a new contract for the manager is lkely to be signed at the end of this current term.
This news of course would get many Chelsea supporters excited as Conte deserves it, considering how he helped bring out the best in a handful of players at the club.
There have been some speculations linking Conte to Inter Milan. But with this new developments, Abramovich is telling the manager: ‘Sit here, forget Milan!’
