Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has refuses to rule out a summer move for Arsenal forward, Alexis Sanchez.
The Blues are understood to be close in on a transfer for the wantaway Gunners star who has continued to refuse to sign an extension to his contract which remains less than 18 months, and Conte has tried to sidestep the questions when asked about the possibility of signing Sanchez next summer.
The Italian boss said: ‘You know I don’t like to speak about other players of other clubs, ‘I think it’s disrespectful for the club, for my players.
‘It’s not the right moment to speak about this.’
Sanchez had earlier hinted at a move to the Stamford Bridge with his comments during international duty with Chile, he was quoted to have said: “I’d like to stay in the city but with a team that is winning things, that has a winning mentality,”
It is understood that the Gunners are resigned to the idea of losing the Chilean forward and will cash in on him during the next summer window, with suggestions that the North London will prefer to sell him to clubs outside the Premier League which favours the likes of Paris Saint Germain and Inter Milan who are believed to be keen on capturing his signature.
