Arsenal have received a massive injury boost with the return of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey ahead of their clash against West Ham United on Wednesday night.

The Gunners are currently having a bad patch in the league, and were handed a major setback before the game against Manchester City with news that the pair has suffered injuries in training and were doubts for the game with the Hammers.

Ramsey and Oxlade Chamberlain were spotted in training ahead of their clash at the Emirates, although Arsene Wenger admitted the pair will undergo further tests to decide whether they will feature in the game.

However, Laurent Koscienly is not expected to return to action due to his Achilles injury, he sustained during the 2-2 draw against Manchester City last Sunday. Wenger said: ‘It is certainly serious because it’s an Achilles problem.

‘If he’s ruptured a few fibres of the tendon it could be a few weeks.

‘If it’s just an inflammation he could maybe be available for Crystal Palace.

‘He has a scan today and we will know much more. I can tell you much more tomorrow.’

Arsenal will also miss the services of Petr Cech, who suffered a thigh injury in their game against West Bromvich Albion but might return next Monday according to Arsene Wenger.
