Man United set to sell off player to create room for the arrival of Harry Maguire.

Jose Mourinho led Manchester United side is desperately in need of a defender.

One of the many issues with the Red Devils squad is that they lack a thorough defense line especially the centre-left back.

And Mourinho has been trying to correct this as they hope to unseat Manchester City this season.

The Red Devils have been linked to several defenders like Toby Alderweireld, Raphael Varane and Jerome Boateng but none of the deals have pulled through.

Currently, they are about to reach an agreement with Leicester City for their key defender, Harry Maguire.

Leicester City has fixed the transfer fee to a tune of £50 million and it looks as Manchester United are ready to meet up the payment.

However, before the Red Devils can sign Harry Maguire, they will have to sell one of their defenders.

One of Eric Bailey, Phils Jones, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Macros Rojo will have to leave to create space for Maguire.

But report already made it known that Rojo will likely be the affected player and will be sold in this summer transfer window.
