Spanish giants Real Madrid are reported to be eyeing Arsenal star player Lucas Torriera with the hope of luring him away from the club as early as in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
Lucas Torriera only joined the North London side in the summer window and has since established himself in the club under manager Unai Emery.
His presence in the team has not gone unnoticed as he has helped the Gunners stabilize their midfield and the defence which is obvious for all to see in addition to his outstanding performance with his national team Uruguay at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
With Luka Modric nearing his retirement as he is now 32 years, Los Blancos are desperate to have a high class midfielder who would help fill the gap and provide the quality as it is being enjoyed at Arsenal at the moment.
Reports say the Bernabeu boss Santiago Solari will do all it takes to have the former Sampdoria star join the club.
So far, Lucas Torriera has had 13 games under his belt at Arsenal and has scored 2 goals in addition to two assists across all competitions.
It is therefore unsure if the Gunners will be ready to part ways with their big asset anytime soon.
