Inter Milan star player Antonio Candreva has emerged as a target for Chelsea this summer and has been linked with the Stamford Bridge club for some time.
In a new development, there are new reports that the blues manager Antonio Conte has given the club go-ahead to complete a deal for the talented player before the end of the transfer window.
Apart from Ivan Perisic who is also strongly linked with Manchester United, Candreva is another Inter Milan star tat was linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.
The Italian midfielder was a regular for the San Siro club last term and was able to score six times with eleven assists in 38 Serie A games.
The Mirror are reporting that the Serie A heavyweights are set to sell the 30-year-old and Chelsea can now buy him.
It was also said that Chelsea boss is keen on a link-up with his countryman after both worked together in the Italian national team when Conte was Italian head coach.
The former Juventus manager has reportedly told his Chelsea to secure a deal for the £25million-rated star.
Apart from Candreva, another player who has been strongly linked with Chelsea recently is Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
