Scottish giants Rangers have stepped up their bid to sign Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to begin as from the 1st of January in the wake of recent withdrawals from the playing personnel at the club.
Forwards Umar Sadiq and Ovie have ended their respective loan deals abruptly.
Both players have returned to their parent clubs ahead of the second half of the season.
AS Roma player Sadiq joined Rangers in the summer for a season-long loan deal but the Nigerian failed to make any meaningful impact at the club.
He made five appearances for Rangers before the club decided to terminate the loan arrangement with the Italian capital club AS Roma.
For Ovie Ejaria, the Nigerian-born English winger has returned to parent club Liverpool after he became unsettled at Ibrox.
He played for Rangers 28 times before returning to Anfield.
With the recent departures, Rangers have moved to strengthen their squad with a possible loan move for Dominic Solanke according to the4thofficial.
Solanke, 21, is one of the most sought-after players in English football at the moment.
Apart from Scottish side Rangers, other clubs like Huddersfield Town, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and West Ham United have all been linked with the former Chelsea striker.
