French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are still keen on a move for Liverpool midfielder Fabinho ahead of the mid-season transfer window which runs through the month of January.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to France.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp debunked those transfer rumours linking one of his players with an exit from the club in one of his recent interviews.
However, the statement from Klopp has not stopped PSG from retaining an interest in him according to various media reports coming out of France.
Fabinho signed for Liverpool in the summer after the Reds agreed on a fee of around £40m for his services with Champions League campaigners AS Monaco.
He was part of the Monaco team that ended a 17-year wait for a league title during the 2016/17 season and also reached the semifinals of the Champions League in the same season.
Since his transfer to Liverpool, Fabinho has been largely unconvincing.
The Brazilian international player started the season out of the Reds starting XI before respective hamstring injuries to the midfield duo of Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita opened up a fantastic opportunity.
Fabinho, however, failed to seize the series of opportunities that he was given to stake a claim for a permanent spot in the starting XI.
