Club Chief: This Is Why We Didn’t Sell This Player To Man United

Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio made it known recently that his side couldn’t afford to lose talented star player Ivan Perisic during the summer transfer window to premier league heavyweights Man United.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was keen on signing Perisic in the transfer window, but the Italian side were demanding something in the region of £50million before they can allow him to leave Milan.

The Croatian winger is said to be interested in moving to Old Trafford and in other to play premier league, and it is understood that his heart has been set on a move.

But Inter Milan’s impressive start to the new campaign has helped eased the pain of his unsuccessful move to Manchester United.

Many expected the Serie A club to actually succumb to defeat in their attempt to keep Ivan in the Italian capital, especially considering the figures involved.

But the Italian club decided to keep the Croatia player, and club director Ausilio believes they made the right decision.

Speaking recently about Perisic and the activities in the transfer window, Ausilio confessed how important the winger is at Inter Milan, and that they can’t afford to lose a player of his sort.

Jose Mourinho has been mostly rotating the duo of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on the left wing this season, and both players have been very much impressive.
