Reports revealed that Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was close to signing for Arsenal. Mkhitaryan signed for Manchester United in the summer from German club Borussia Dortmund, with the midfielder seen at the time as one of the best talents in Europe. Now reports have come out to reveal how Manchester United hijacked and snatched Mkhitaryan from Arsenal. Manchester United made it through to the quarterfinals of the EFL cup after a 1-0 victory over arch rivals Manchester City. Though the match will not go down as been a classic, it was a needed victory for the red devils after they were humiliated 4-0 by Chelsea last weekend. Despite the victory, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been heavily criticized by the fans for his display, with many feeling his performances lately have dropped dramatically. Jose Mourinho says he felt humiliated after Man United's 4-0 defeat at the hands of former club Chelsea as Antonio Conte celebrated on the touchline before the final whistle. The Italian and former Juventus coach urged the home fans to make more noise and celebrate before the game ended.
